Stuff Disappears When I Slice

There can be many reasons the sliced thing can be different from the unsliced thing.

The most common problem is that most slicers will just skip stuff they think they can not print.

There is a parameter in the slicer that has the width of a line that gets printed to make stuff. There is also a laher height, but that is smaller and not a problem as often. If you have a wall that is thinner than the width of a line that gets printed there is no way it can be created as it was defined.

You can fix this in several ways.

You can make the features bigger than the line width. Then the slicer things they can be printed and all is well.

There is a parameter in the slicer for detect thin walls. If it comes across a wall that it thinks is too thin to print, it will create the wall as wide as the line width. Thes will make the wall wider than it was in the model, but it will be as close as possible.

This also happens for small lettering. Make the lettering larger or make the line narrower.

A small nozzle can make a thinner line.

The model may also not be manifold.
