Remove Stuff From Bed

You got something stuck to the bed and can’t get it off. Stick the bed in the freezer for a few minutes. The bed and the stuff shrink differently and that force might make it easier to get stuff off.

You have to be careful with scrapers. First, I have had them slip and cut me. Second I have had them dig into the bed and ruin it. A scraper thin enough to get under stuff is sharp enough to do either. Especially don’t cut yourself.

A common problem is a too short first layer just will not come off and the scraper will not get under it. Well, you probably had the nozzle too close to the bed, but that’s not going to help with this mess. Try the freezer thing and if that does not work try printing something over the problem. A thin, 2-3 layer print, will stick to what’s on the plate and everything might come up when you take the new print off.
