Buy Used

Most people are selling their printer because they can not get it to print stuff the way they think it should. Brand new printers can have problems. A used printer is more likely to have one.

If you buy a used printer, see it print. You don’t want to be told it prints fine or it printed this. See the printer start a print, watch it print, look at what it printed.

If you can not see it print then assume it is broken and price it accordingly. If the buyer is new to 3D printing then a broken printer is worth less than $0.

Most people selling stuff on Facebook are as honest as the day is long. The person you are dealing with is a fine person. I have seen a bunch of people with broken printers and no way of contacting the seller. As my first printer I would buy a new one.
